Spring updates

Hi folks,

Sorry I've been MIA, but I've been totally wrapped up in school, my son's activities, and church. (My son was in the youth musical at our church this spring, and I joined the chancel choir.)

And guess what? I'm on the Dean's List! Three A's and two B's! And one of those A's was an A+ too! Yay! My favorite class? Neuropsychology. Wow, what an interesting class that was (and... it was one of my A's!).

Did you know there is an emerging field called counseling neuropsycholgoy that is blazing new trails? I'm extremely fascinated by it. The facets I'm most interested in are the avenues that combine technology with brain, behavior, and biology. I see untapped paths with exciting potential ahead.

I'm in the process of pulling my graduate school application together. I hear competition is tough. Well, life will take me where I'm meant to go through motivation, hard work, and faith.

Btw, did you know that Abraham was seventy-five years old when God called him to leave Haran? To try to relate this to today’s life, Abraham was not quite half way through his life at that point. Abraham lived to be one hundred and seventy-five. I’m inspired. Considering that people in my family generally live to around or into their nineties, there's still hope for me then, lol. You see? It’s all in perspective. :)

On the writing front? I've got some wonderful new ideas in the works. With each class I take, it feels like a whole new world out there, lol, and I'm excited about incorporating what I've learned into a new book. This summer I'm revisiting Harlequin medical romances, and the inspirational romances with an entirely new approach...

Take care my friends,

Lee
